5 movies with emo soundtracks
Music is important to any good movie, and it's no surprise that some films have a great soundtrack.
Let's break down a few movie soundtracks, and some of the scene bangers on them.
PLEASE NOTE: this list is in NO particular order. I am not ranking the movies on whether or not they were good, if the songs are good, I am just saying what movies feature emo music. If we missed a movie that you think has a great emo soundtrack, please let us know!
1. Jennifer's Body- 2009
Jennifer's Body starred Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. Fox plays Jennifer, a popular high school student labeled as one of the prettiest girls in the entire school. She then gets possessed; and well, it gets a little crazy from there on out.
The official soundtrack of the film has a star-studded line up. Hayley Williams, Panic! At The Disco, All Time Low, Cute Is What We Aim For, it's full of some big time pop-punk stars. This film gave us All Time Low's "Toxic Valentine" and Panic!'s "New Perspective", two songs that are timeless.

2. Twilight- 2008
Twilight was a movie adaptation of the books by author Stephenie Meyer. This movie is a hit or miss or miss for some people in regard to whether or not its good, but it did give us "Decode" by Paramore, which is an absolute banger.
Paramore also had their song "I Caught Myself" on the track list. Names like Muse and Linkin Park were also featured. It might not include as many big name bands like some others on this list, but it still has some great songs nonetheless.

3. American Pie- 1999
American Pie's soundtrack featured songs by Blink-182, Third Eye Blind, and Goldfinger. It definitely features more of a rock sound than a pop-punk sound, but it is classic, and fits the concept of the movie very well.

4. Spiderman 2- 2004
This Spiderman Film featured Tobey Maguire as the title hero. Dashboard Confessional's "Vindicated" was released as a single for the movie. Names like Switchfoot, Yellowcard, The Ataris, and Taking Back Sunday were all featured on the film's soundtrack. It was an alternative rock record from all angles, and also put an emphasis on emo music in pop culture at the time.
