First off, I wanted to congratulate you on your most recent release of “Loser” with Cami Petyn! How do
you feel post release?
Tyson: Thanks so much! We're pumped. This one was wrapped up in the fall of 2022 so it's been chilling in our dropbox for a while just waiting to drop. It's definitely a song that doesnt sound like any other Crooked Teeth song and that is super exciting for us

What is your inspiration for the song “Loser”?
Tyson: Musically the song was inspired heavily by Alice In Chains and Limp Bizkit which might sound crazy to think about but both Cami and I love that era of heavy music and really wanted to bring that energy to the song. Lyrically we wanted to come from this vulnerable place as a couple of introverts living and creating in Los Angeles who are just fed up with the pressure to be socialites in this industry.
What are some of your favorite memories as a band?
Jason: With so much time spent together and seeing new places there have been so many hilariously goofy times.
Playing Aftershock and watching our favorite bands play, together as a band was such a special moment.
Driving our mini van on the Daytona Speedway to get to soundcheck for Welcome to Rockville was crazy memory for sure!
What is something that you have accomplished so far in your career that you are most proud of?
Tyson: For me, it's getting to the point where I now get to share this project with two other insanely talented musicians who also have a deep love for doing this. Last year we experienced some bucket list moments together and every step of that was really special
If you could set up your tour with any band or singer, who would it be and why?
Tyson: Honestly I would love to tour with Papa Roach and The Used this year. I've been fans of both bands since I was a teen and have loved to watch both artists grow an awesome legacy and continuously grow their sound. We also love the new Hardy record and would love to tour with him!
If we were to get in the car with you right now, what song would be listening too?
Jason: If we were in the car as a band right now we would probably be either hearing our own music back from the studio, or completely down a rabbit hole of some late 90’s/early 2000’s alternative classics.
If it were just me in the car I’d probably be listening to Motion City Soundtrack, or maybe The Beths, or something like that.
Just for kicks and giggles: if you could be any kitchen utensil what would you be?
Jason: I would be a cheese grater, because I like the finer things.
Is there anything else you would like your fans to know?
Tyson: We're working on our debut full length and we are PUMPED to share this with everyone. Got alot of new music on the way
