blink-182 announce album release date. Is twenty one pilots and Halsey collaborating? And some social media related news
Hey everyone! And welcome back to our weekly mailer. Let’s get right to it.
News you may have missed…
First, I meant to add this news last week and completely left it off the list on accident, but it needs mentioned because it’s a great read. All Punked Up writers, Alex and Ali, interviewed Doll Skin and it proves why they’re pop punk’s next big thing.
APU write, Claire, did a ranking of Bastille’s best songs.
blink-182 has finally announced the release date of their new album.
Hawthorne Heights covered Billie Eilish and Kacey Musgraves songs.
Avril Lavigne dropped a new video for “I Fell In Love With The Devil”.
The Used covered Oasis’ “Wonderwall” live. This cover was well done. Hopefully they record a studio version of this song.
Remember MTV’s Making The Band? It’s coming back to MTV in 2020.
In social media news, Twitter launched a redesign with a simpler navigation and more features for desktop.
More social media news: Instagram has expanded test to hide like counts. I understand the reasoning and I don’t dislike it.
We went to Sad Summer Festival in Orlando. See our photos!
We also attended Disrupt Fest in Michigan! And let us tell you, this festival gives set after set of amazing talent.
Rumors are circulating that twenty one pilots and Halsey are working on a collab. What do you think?
