Immerse release new single "Paralyse"
Immerse, UK-based melodic hardcore band have released their latest single, "Paralyse" alongside a new visual. The song showcases the punchier and more ambient side of the band’s material and is complemented with a disconcerting and dark visual. The last single from Immerse, "Red Shade" amassed over 70,000 plays on Spotify within 10 days and the band have a busy touring schedule planned for 2021.
Vocalist Archie Hatfield on the band's new single, “I wrote "Paralyse" late at night when I was laid in bed at a low point, I wanted to write down how I was feeling to try and grasp a greater understanding of how I could deal with my issues, this song is about visiting a dark place within myself and my inner battle with my thoughts, and how dangerous it can be to be alone with them."
Guitarist Tim Brown adds, “I’ve always loved the combination of clean ambient guitars with chuggy riffs. This song was the perfect opportunity to play around with my favourite guitar sounds and create a song that gets straight to the point. Although the song is fairly short, I feel that it hits hard and the visual is a perfect representation of the battles we have within ourselves everyday.”
