Machine Gun Kelly cancels opening act PVRIS less than one day before Boston show
We all know how controversial Machine Gun Kelly is. Some of us love him, others hate him. Now, the rapper-turned-rocker is under fire on Twitter as PVRIS calls him out for canceling their opening-act performance with less than a 24 hour notice. PVRIS shared this tweet last night:
Boston: Unfortunately, we have been informed by Machine Gun Kelly and his team that he cannot accommodate our scheduled performance tomorrow at TD Garden. We are so sorry to any of you who bought tickets to see us. We will have more news soon to hopefully make this up to you.

PVRIS added to the thread with the following:
"Rest assured, this was not our decision, and fully that of Machine Gun Kelly and his team. We are extremely disappointed by this entire situation. As far as we are aware, we will still be playing in Philadelphia on Sunday."
Machine Gun Kelly was quick to respond and claim he knows nothing about the confusion in scheduling.
you actually weren’t informed by me at all, because i never knew anything about that.

Some fans believe that Machine Gun Kelly wanted to opt for a longer set to play songs from his recently released deluxe version of mainstream sellout. Others believe it was poor planning on MGK's crew. Either way, kicking PVRIS out of the opening act line-up less than a day before the show seems pretty messed up if you ask us. Hopefully, the situation is cleared up soon.
