Fun Fact: Riot Fest is a popular annual music festival known for its punk rock lineup, started in 2005 in Chicago. In 2016, the fest hosted a unique attraction called "Riot Fest Wedding Chapel" where attendees could get legally married on-site, complete with an official ceremony and Riot Fest-themed marriage certificates.

This is nuts. Every day, social media explodes with hundreds of remixed audio tracks, specifically on TikTok. Creators use techniques like pitch shifting, speeding up, and slowing down songs to create fresh takes. It's a popularity contest, with the most-viewed tracks rising to the top, regardless of how heavily modified they are. Things get murky when remixed versions overshadow and receive more views than the original uploaded song. When this happens and the tracks becomes more popular than the original, they start generating royalties which then enters the music fraud territory. In fact, a whopping four out of the ten most popular songs have more views from their remixed versions than the originals. Here are the most manipulated songs of 2024.
