Am I right about the scene making a comeback? Yellowcard suing rapper and a Warped Tour documentary
Hey, everyone! Last week saw my segment of Random Thoughts… back in action. I talked about how I thought the scene was making a comeback to the forefront. This week, after I let a week go by for my last question, I ask another question to answer my last question (are you still following)? The question this week is: Am I right about the scene making a comeback? Keep reading for my answer.

Am I right about the scene making a comeback?
Last week, I asked the question: Is the scene making a comeback? I asked this because I had noticed that Waterparks, a band from the scene we cover, was having their song “Dream Boy” in rotation on a main Sirius XM channel called Hits 1. It’s basically your typical Top 40 songs radio station.
So this got me thinking, is the scene finally making a comeback? Is rock music finally going to start getting recognition again? Are we seeing a musical shift away from rap and pop? I’d say, for now, we won’t agree with the latter, but I’d say rock is coming around. And the scene is the one that’s going to make it happen. Just look at what Rock Sound reported: Waterparks are number one on the Emerging Artist charts. That is huge! And it looks like it’s a sign of good things to come, not just for Waterparks, but for the scene and rock music as a whole.
