Taylor Swift crashes Ticketmaster site 5000 times! + Fans can be inconsiderate assholes + Why we're all at risk of hearing loss
Hello! This week’s mailer brings us Taylor Swift and her Swifties crashing the Ticketmaster website over 5000 times (yes, you read that right—a five with three zeroes). Things were so bad that Ticketmaster is now being investigated by the DOJ. But enough about the shit storm that is Ticketmaster, this week also brings us tour announcements, a new album in the works from Green Day, and fans being assholes. Oh, and a billion of us are at risk of hearing loss due to how we listen to music.
Fans can be inconsiderate assholes + Ticketmaster shits the bed + Why we're all at risk of hearing loss
This week, we’re going to discuss a recent huge YouTube milestone for a certain artist, a rare concert poster selling for an absurd amount of money. We’re also going to talk about the recent Grammy nominations for the rock category. Also, we’re going to talk about a recent incident that happened to Stand Atlantic that shows how fans really can be shitty people. Before we close out, we’re going to talk about a new study that claims a lot of us are at risk of hearing loss when it comes to music. And finally, we’re going to touch on the recent Taylor Swift ticket sale debacle that was Ticketmaster shitting the bed.
