News you may have missed! (1/15/21)
Concerts to begin this Fall? One band shares a crazy journey to get signed to Drive-Thru Records, AFI releases new music, a Paramore mash-up and so much more!
Hey, hey, hey! It’s Friday, which means another mailer just for you! We’re already two week into the new year. I hope it’s going well for you.
Let’s just go ahead and get to the news.
The All Punked Up Podcast
Hosted by Bailey, on this week’s episode of The All Punked Up Podcast, Tyler invites his old bandmates, Alex Haycraft and John Pearman, on the show for the three of them to discuss their absolutely crazy experience of almost getting their band Yeti 242 signed to one of the most influential labels the scene has ever had, Drive-Thru Records.
It was the band’s ultimate dream to be signed to Drive-Thru Records, but how they obtained Drive-Thru Records head Richard Reines’ contact info, showing him their songs, him inviting them to L.A. and the trip to get there is a Hangover-like movie experience they just had to share.
If you’re in a local band or simply enjoyed the Drive-Thru Records era of music, then this episode is definitely for you.
You can listen to this episode here.
