News you may have missed! (1/17/22)
Wendy's roasts bands + Ryan Key talks Yellowcard and solo career + Our most anticipated albums for 2022 + New music from Avril and Stand Atlantic + Paramore back in the studio + a lot more!
Happy Monday! This week brings us new music and album announcements from Avril Lavigne and Stand Atlantic. Paramore is apparently back in the studio.
I’m trying something new with this newsletter. You may remember when I used to release these things every Saturday morning and then it moved to Sunday mornings. Well, I want to try sending these out on Sunday nights/Monday mornings. Reason being is mainly because of the podcast episodes AND because it’s easier for me to get these emails together in time. I honestly didn’t like the idea of promoting an almost week old podcast episode only to be dropping a new one the very next day. I just think it makes most sense to promote the new one that just came out (or coming out in a few hours).
Is blink-182 about to become a 4-piece? + Our most anticipated releases for 2022
They’re baaaack! It’s the first episode of 2022, and this week, Bailey and Tyler discuss the recent teases from blink-182 members about a possible Tom DeLonge reunion of sorts. Is there any meat to these teases? Are fans reading too much into it? Will they become a four-piece? What is the actual likelihood of Tom rejoining one of the best pop punk bands of all time? They discuss it all.
Before revealing their personal top most anticipated albums and EPs for 2022, the crew talks about whether or not 2022 will be the year of the EP. Lots of albums to look forward to, so tune in and get excited along with them!

COMING MONDAY: William Ryan Key talks Yellowcard, moving on, star wars and a brand new solo EP
William Ryan Key is the guest for this week's episode! Most know him as lead singer and guitar player in Yellowcard who disbanded back in 2017 after the band's 10th studio album. But that was then and this is now. On this episode, you’re going to get to know him as William Ryan Key, the solo artist, the podcaster and a man with a new vision and a new EP.
We, of course, discuss his time in Yellowcard–the good times and the bad–as well as what it was like when the band made it big.
