News you may have missed! (12/4/20)
Tom DeLonge reveals unused blink-182 album title, new collab from Yungblud, MGK and Travis Barker, and a new Spotify tool to help artists not plagiarize
What is up, everybody?! I hope this mailer finds you well. It was our first week back after a little Thanksgiving break. I took advantage of the holiday to take a much needed break from posting news and whatnot to the site. Sometimes I find that that’s needed. Usually it feels like it’s just go, go, go to stay up to date with everything and deciding what does and doesn’t get posted on our site. And just taking a break sometimes is a nice thing to do to just kind of regroup, and when it’s time to start working again, I feel much more refreshed and ready to go.
Anyways, enough about me. Let’s get to the news.
The All Punked Up Podcast
We didn’t release a new podcast episode this week as we took a little holiday hiatus, but if you missed last week’s episode, I definitely recommend that you check that out. Here’s the rundown. Bailey and I hosted discussed Trapt hitting a new all time low after Facebook bans their account for violating the social network's community standards. The two of us also talk about how a blink-182 and Green Day joint tour was in the works as a reboot for another Pop Disaster Tour. And speaking of blink-182, Baily and I confess which album is the band's worst. On a lighter note, we touch on a recent announcement of Bandcamp launching a new live streaming service for artists, Halsey wanting to create a punk rock album, and how one guitarist stopped an attempted baby abduction in NYC. You've got to hear this. Links are below.
