WWE is going all in on musical artists lately.
Not really sure what’s going on, but the WWE seems to really be going all in on musical artists for Wrestlemania 37 this weekend.
Before the two-night event takes place, Nita Strauss and Poppy will perform at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
Pop star Bebe Rexha is set to sing “America The Beautiful” to kick off the two-night event on April 10th.
On April 11th, New Years Day’s Ash Costello will be performing “Brutality” live for wrestler Rhea Ripley who will be fighting Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship title.
Also, rapper Bad Bunny is set to wrestle at Wrestlemania 37 against The Miz (former MTV Road Rules contestant). Sounds weird, right?
The musical artist push doesn’t stop at Wrestlemania weekend for WWE. The wrestling entertainment giant inducted Ozzy Osbourne into its WWE Hall of Fame. Osbourne has made a number of appearances throughout the span of WWE’s history as a manager, guest host and musical performer.
Speaking of wrestling, 46% of surveyed Americans say they’d consider voting for former WWE wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for President in 2024.

Bailey and I are back with Episode 31 of The All Punked Up Podcast! Come hang out with the us as we open up talking about new music from All Time Low, Waterparks and With Confidence. We discuss our opinions on ticket scalping after one festival ticket winner tried to sell off his winning tickets for more than double their worth. You probably won’t be a fan of my opinion on ticket scalping, but that’s ok.
The conversation then moves to a new Spotify addition of new personalized playlists based on your favorite artists and genres called Spotify Mixes. We also discuss whether or not 5,000 people attending a recent COVID-19 experiment gig in Barcelona was a good idea or not. Then there's some cool news about a new program in San Francisco that sees the city giving its local artists $1000/mo.
Oh, and alternative rock band Wild Truth stop by for an interview to talk about their newly released EP Drift. We promise you'll love their EP. It's available for streaming everywhere. https://linktr.ee/wildtruthband
