We also asked the question on our socials: What are your biggest gig pet peeves? Not only are we going to be sharing our own pet peeves, but we’re also going to be sharing your responses as well. Also, the Unwritten Law singer was arrested this week so we’ll fill you in on that. But first, we kick things off by talking about the new boygenius album and Hot Mulligan's latest track, and whether or not Hot Mully will get mainstream big.

Bring Me The Horizon launch YouTube series, tease new song snippets. Bring Me The Horizon released a new YouTube series documenting their recent European tour. The first episode shows the band in Germany where they met Till Lindemann and received Rammstein alcohol as a gift. The video features live footage of the band and their fans, as well as snippets of new material with Jordan Fish and Oli Sykes. The episode is called 01BMTHS5 — TEN MINUTES TIL TIL.MP4. Hot Milk announce debut album A CALL TO THE VOID. Hot Milk announced their debut album "A CALL TO THE VOID" which was recorded in Manchester, Los Angeles, and Stockholm, produced by Jim Shaw, and will be released on August 25 via Music For Nations. Their lead single "HORROR SHOW" is now available, with Han Mee stating that the album is meant to make people feel good and release their emotions. The song embraces their differences and was written to be purposely aggressive, combining drum'n'bass and dirty riffs.
Underoath Part Ways With Longtime Guitarist James Smith. Underoath's longtime guitarist and backing vocalist James Smith has parted ways with the band after being with them since 2003, except for a brief hiatus. Smith played on all Underoath albums since "They're Only Chasing Safety" in 2004. Smith expressed his sadness on being informed that he is no longer a member of the band and thanked their fans for their dedication and love for their music. "This saddens me to say, but unfortunately is where we have ended up. I appreciate everyone who at any moment in their lives [has] felt inspired, accepted, comforted and energized by the music we created and the shows we performed." You can read more here.
Tom Morello Says Future of Rage Against the Machine Touring Unclear: ‘I Know As Much As You Do’. Rage Against the Machine's future touring plans remains uncertain, according to an interview with guitarist Tom Morello. The band was forced to cancel their 2022 European tour following a serious foot injury to singer Zack de la Rocha, and Morello said he did not know if the dates would be rescheduled once de la Rocha had recovered. On the question of whether the band would tour again, Morello said that there was "no news" and that fans would be notified via a collective statement from the band when there is one.

Avril Lavigne heading out on Love Sux European tour with girlfriends and phem in support. Avril Lavigne has announced that pop-punk duo girlfriends and up-and-coming alternative artist phem will be the support acts for her upcoming Love Sux European tour in April and May. Lavigne’s London shows have been upgraded to two massive shows at Alexandra Palace on May 9 – 10. Avril will be headlining and is expected to perform her classic hits as well as material from her latest album. Tickets are available here.
Chester Bennington’s son shuts down “bullshit” conspiracy theories about his dad’s death. Tyler Lee Bennington, the son of late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, has used his TikTok account to speak out against conspiracy theories about his father's death. Chester Bennington took his own life in 2017 after struggling with depression. Tyler has also used his social media account to raise awareness about depression and advocate for mental health. He recently shared a tribute to his father on what would have been his 47th birthday. Tyler responded to a comment on his post claiming that his father did not kill himself, saying that there is no evidence to support conspiracy theories and that such comments are inappropriate.
