Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley on 'All Killer No Filler': 'For the longest time, I thought It wasn't very good'
All Killer No Filler turned 20 years old on May 8th, 2021! Every pop punk fan knows that this Sum 41 record is an absolute staple when it comes to classic scene albums. After all, it did contain classic hits like "Fat Lip" and "In Too Deep". But can you believe that Sum 41's Deryck Whibley didn't think the album was all that good to begin with? In a recent interview, Deryck reflected back on album two decades later. And Julia Pearl will tell you all about it.

New and notable songs, videos and albums out this week
DE’WAYNE releases latest single “Stains”. The song is the title track off his recently announced forthcoming 11-song album due out on June 18th via Hopeless Records.
Waterparks release dark single “Just Kidding”. It’s the fifth single off the band’s upcoming Greatest Hits album (which isn’t an actual greatest hits album). The album will contain 17 songs and is out May 21st.
Hot Mulligan dropped a new track called “Featuring Mark Hoppus”. Surprisingly, or maybe not if you know the band’s humor, the song does not actually feature blink-182’s Mark Hoppus. However, based on some of the tweets I’ve seen from the band, it looks like the name of the track is a way to catch Hoppus’ attention. This band is clever. If anything, the title alone got a lot people to tune in (including me) to possibly hear Mark on the song. Well done, HM. They win the week.
Yours Truly drop video for “Siamese Souls.” This band is so good.
Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! have returned with a new single called “Bitter”. They’ve also announced an upcoming fourth album titled Gone Are The Good Days which is out July 30 via Fearless Records.
