Happy Sunday! This week was a big one in the scene because we received our first bit of new music in 8 years from My Chemical Romance. We also received news of Yellowcard reuniting for Riot Fest in Chicago, Neck Deep and drummer Dani Abasi parting ways, Tom DeLonge sharing the first trailer for his Monsters of California movie,

Sophie Powers is a 17-year-old artist gearing up to release her debut EP Red in Revenge on May 20th. She’s already amassed over 3 million streams on Spotify alone, has been on a number of their playlists and has a few notable collaborations under her belt. I sat down with Sophie to talk about just that, her acting career, her upcoming EP and tour with Noahfinnce, and what this climb has been like over the last year. State Champs release new album Kings of the New Age. And guys, this is their best album yet. The new single is “Act Like That”, and boy is it good.
LØLØ features on new song with MILES called “The Internet”. This is a total pop banger and really should be picked up by Top 40 radio. This one has all of the makings of a current pop hit.
Taylor Acorn shares new song “Shapeshifting”. I have a feeling we should be watching this artist.
