News you may have missed! (7/10/22)
Time for another mailer! It wasn’t a huge news week for music in the scene we cover, but here we go!
OUT MONDAY: Taylor Acorn dishes on next single, her pop-punk sound, & tour she'll be in support of that you don't want to miss
For this week’s episode of The All Punked Up Podcast, I got to hang out with an artist that has been on my radar for quite a few months now. Her name is Taylor Acorn. You may have heard of her after her most recent releases “Shapeshifting”, another single called “In My Head” and her recent acoustic cover of blink-182’s “First Date”.
After we released one of our recent episodes called: Pop-punk NEEDS to invade the Country Music world, I feel like Taylor is the perfect follow-up to that episode. Because I feel like Taylor is definitely an artist that can play nice in the pop-punk world AND the country music world ALL at the same time. She comes from a country music background, but she’s doing her thing in the pop-punk world and she is doing it VERY well.
But she and I discuss just that and whether or not SHE thinks she can play in both genres. We also talk about her very beginnings, when we can expect a new single and then she dishes on a tour she’ll be in support of that you don’t want to miss!
When it comes to Taylor Acor, I REALLY expect big things from her and I’m excited for everyone to hear her story.
You can listen to this episode here.
