News you may have missed! (7/3/22)
Travis Barker hospitalized + Billie Joe Armstrong renouncing his citizenship + a blink-182 and Guy Fieri collab? + MORE
Happy Fourth of July weekend, everyone! Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday. This was somewhat of a quiet week in regard to news. So let’s go ahead and get to it.
Podcast
After a four-week break, we came back last week. But I failed to mention on that episode that from here on out (except maybe on occasion), there will be no new episodes on Mondays coming after a holiday weekend. This will allow us to spend time with our families and better plan for our next episode. So with that said, since this is the Fourth of July weekend, there will be no new episode this week.
But in case you missed last week’s episode, Bailey and I discussed the recent Drive-Thru Records announcement. Spoiler alert: we were correct in our speculations from the episode prior. But we wonder if there is more. Additionally, we talked about a recent ruling in favor of Ed Sheeran NOT plagiarising a song, how the ones doing the suing got the shit end of the stick, and what this could mean for future artists suing over plagiarism. And speaking of shit, there's one artist who loves to use his shitter as lyrical inspiration. It was our first week back in a while, so sit back, relax and enjoy the bumpy ride that was this episode.
