How bad is Panic! At The Disco's new album? + Police prevent mass shooting at festival + Bandcamp Fridays coming back + Some good new music to check out!
It’s Sunday night which means it’s time for your scene newsletter. This week brings us a new Panic! At The Disco album and from the sounds of Twitter, it’s not that great. There was also news of police saying an arrest led to the prevention of a possible mass shooting at an EDM festival. Also, Bandcamp Fridays are said to be coming back! So let’s get to it!
OUT MONDAY: How bad is Panic! At The Disco's new album?
This week, Tyler and John discuss whether or not Panic! At The Disco's new album Viva Las Vengeance is as bad as what Twitter says it is. They also bring up an interview that tells the story of why Ozzy Osbourne swore off acid, leading to Tyler and John sharing their stories of getting high. They also talk about how “Teenage Dirtbag” has gone from a one-hit wonder to a TikTok phenomenon. And since we haven't done it in a while, we review new songs from Story of the Year, Cartel, and LØLØ.
