News you may have missed! (8/7/22)
Spotify has p0rn + more blink-182 reunion rumors + TikTok turning into the next music streaming app? + LOTS of NEW music
It’s time for another mailer! Welcome back! Two big things this week in regard to All Punked Up. We have a new web design! Make sure to check out the new site here. The best part about the new design is that you should see that it loads much faster AND the site is WAY more accessible than it was before. Web accessibility is important for people with disabilities trying to view a website. Just like all public places, websites should also be inclusive and now our website is much better in that area.
The next update: The All Punked Up Podcast has a new co-host as Bailey has taken a hiatus from the pod. So be sure to check out the new episode dropping this Monday morning (Episode 85) to get to know John Pearman. John is one of my long-time best friends and is the funniest guy I know. So having his humor on the pod, I feel, definitely takes us up a notch. This week’s episode was a fun one to record.
So with that out of the way, let’s get to the news and music releases you need to know about!
OUT MONDAY: Spotify has a porn problem + Is Tom back in blink-182 or not? + Will TikTok be the next music app?
The new era of The All Punked Up Podcast has arrived! What does that mean? It means we have a new co-host as Bailey is on hiatus. John Pearman is that new co-host. You may remember him from the episode we did where Tyler brought his former bandmates on to discuss the one time they drove all the way out to LA from the Midwest to get signed by Drive-Thru Records. But this week, we aren't here to talk about the old band. We're here to talk about Spotify having a porn problem. Yes, porn. And if Spotify wants to embrace this new venture, John's got a few names Spotify can think about changing its name to. Also, TikTok may end up becoming the next big music streaming app. And once again we bring up the blink-182/Tom DeLonge reunion rumors as they heated up again this week with new information.
You can listen to this episode here.
