OP-ED: Ranking our top five Paramore songs
In case you missed it, Hayley Williams tweeted her personal top five Paramore songs last week.

Personally, I think having “Told You So” as number one is a HOT take. Other than that, I highly respect this list.
She followed up this tweet with two more, listing her top five Paramore songs minus After Laughter and her top five songs from Brand New Eyes.

While I don’t necessarily agree that Paramore’s two most recent albums are their best, I do agree that anything except “The Only Exception” could be the best song from Brand New Eyes. Aside from the fact that the message of the song did not age well, I always found the song kind of repetitive and rather bland.
In light of these rankings, I was inspired to list my own top five Paramore songs.
“All I Wanted”
“Rose-Colored Boy”
“Looking Up”
“Brick By Boring Brick”
“Last Hope”
Can you tell that Brand New Eyes is my favorite Paramore album? To this day, the vocals in “All I Wanted” give me chills.
Honorable mentions (since Hayley Williams herself included them):
“Caught in the Middle”
“26”
I am also a massive fan of After Laughter, obviously.
