Photo Series: Mom Jeans. Chicago Night 1 Show
Mom Jeans. made their way to Chicago's Concord Music Hall for 2 nights in a row of music. Check out what night 1 was like!
Mom Jeans. is on their way to concluding the US tour run that started at the beginning on March. With two nights of Chicago at Concord Music Hall, I knew I couldn’t miss the opportunity to catch one of the best bands in the scene right now.
I was lucky enough to photograph Chicago Night 1, which the band unofficially declared the Y2K night of the tour, making this night one big trip down nostalgia lane.
With openers HUNNY, Bad Bad Hats, and Summer Salt, this night was filled with so much love, great tunes, and energy that sky-rocketed with every passing second. Once Mom Jeans. took the stage, the vibes were at max capacity, making it evident that this crowd really wanted to show up and show the appreciation for the band.
With the classic Mom Jean. show staples like circle pits, crowd surfing, and vape tricks on stage, we truly got it all. With a great mix of newer releases and the older classics, the ending of the night made me want to go right back to the begining.
Check out the photo series below of the night, and make sure to peek at the last few remaining tour dates in case you’re able to catch a show.
