Photo Series: The Property Tour featuring Waterparks hits Chicago
Photo Credit: Jawn Rocha After months of anticipation, teasing, and waiting from the band and fans alike, Waterparks ventured out on The Property Tour. The tour was announced in December, and excitement was immediately high. When I say this show was everything I hoped for, I genuinely mean it. I caught the second night in Chicago at House of Blues, being an incredibly sold out gig! With a rotating list of openers, this show was fortunate enough to have the very talented Elliot Lee and HUNNY. Both of these performances went really well alongside Waterparks. Though all three vastly unique and different from one another, the audience showed equal energy for everyone.
The performance Waterparks put on was honestly stunning.
The performance Waterparks put on was honestly stunning. With small individual screens attached to a set of stairs equally set up horizontally from each other, the stage production was extremely impressive. Getting different visuals that went along with each song, you couldn't help but be fully enamored. Incredibly fun lighting, smoke machines, and CO2 cannons topped everything off. I don't think another band exists out there that loves performing quite the way Waterparks does. There is so much communication and connecting with the audience. The band takes time out of their set to talk with audience members, sharing playful banter, reading peoples signs, and passing out picks.
Prepare to TRULY enjoy yourself.
Without ruining the experience for those who have yet to attend a show on this tour, all I can say is - prepare to TRULY enjoy yourself. Waterparks takes over the stage unlike any band I've seen as of late. You will leave this show anticipating when you can catch the boys next. Please enjoy the photo series from an honestly incredible night. Waterparks is on tour in the US until mid June. Most shows are completely sold out, but the most recently updated tour poster can be found below!
