Spotify being accused of adding AI-generated music into its playlists?
Questions have arisen about Spotify's possible inclusion of AI-generated music in its artist radio playlists. This comes after Adam Faze, studio chief of FazeWorld, on Twitter shared a playlist of 49 songs that appeared to be the same track, but with different artist names, song titles, and album artwork.

Sharing his findings on Twitter, Faze says he kept track of the songs in question which were all released between August 2022 and April 2023, adding that the writing credits for the songs were all completely different names.

The emergence of AI-generated music has gained attention recently, with some bands creating their own AI tunes. However, it is still unclear whether or not Spotify is actually inserting AI-generated music into its playlists.
Side note: I wouldn't be surprised to hear one day that some music streaming services wind up under fire for giving preferential treatment to AI-generated songs. And then we find out later that those said streaming services are the ones actually creating those AI songs as a way to rake in the profits from royalties that in turn take away from real artist streams.
