Sum 41 brought mayhem with their 'No Personal Space' tour
Sum 41 brought their No Personal Space tour to The Phantasy in Cleveland, OH on May 24th.
The Phantasy is a small, intimate themed venue. Once concert-goers reach the inside, they're eyes are met by a giant wooden pirate ship placed on the floor to fit it's theme.
The name of this tour is quite fitting considering the amount of people that were packed in the venue. There was barely enough room to breathe, let alone having a space to stand isolated.
As soon as Sum 41 hit the stage, bodies lunged forward creating mosh pits in every corner of the floor. As the crowd slammed into one another, the heat was felt as it was steaming from the entire audiences skin.
The band kept it cool on-stage by sliding from one song to the next despite the chaos that ensued from the crowd. Their sound, clean and clear, sent electric waves throughout the venue and created the mayhem.
Moving in a graceful, punk-rock motion with the small stage that they had to work with kept eyes mesmerized throughout their entire performance.
Voices united in songs such as "Hell Song" and "Walking Disaster." The band threw it back to songs from their first records while fast forwarding to their newest release "Out For Blood."
Sum 41 also covered Metallica throughout their set sending metal-heads into a flurry of ecstatic emotion.
The set the band brought satisfied the ears of old and new Sum 41 fans alike while keeping it diverse and creating a serene moment with "With Me," and being sure not to leave out hits such as "In Too Deep," "Still Waiting" and closing on "Fat Lip."
Fans energy never let up. So if you're planning on attending this tour, be prepared to take on die-hard fans.
