The Wrecks drop debut full-length album “Infinitely Ordinary” and it is a banger—album review
On Friday, The Wrecks dropped their debut album Infinitely Ordinary via Big Noise Records. You can check out their latest single on All Punked Up and the full record on all streaming platforms.
Vocalist and producer Nick Anderson shared his thoughts on the album last week in a press release.
“We've been talking about releasing this album for so long that I think I'm ready for the songs to do the talking now. Only a few weeks until the muzzle comes off, and I'm just as inconsolably anxious as I am unimaginably thrilled. Thankfully, we have the most patient, impatient fanbase ever and they've stuck with us all the way up to this moment. I am so proud of what we've made here, and I'm proud to call Infinitely Ordinary our debut album.”

The Wrecks have mastered today’s alt-rock sound with their debut album Infinitely Ordinary.
This eight-track banger possesses all the qualities of today’s top alt-rock artists. If Cage the Elephant, Matt Maeson, twenty one pilots, and AJR got together to make a supergroup, it would sound just like The Wrecks.
From dancing around to “Freaking Out” and “Feels So Nice” to the chill vibes of “Fvck Somebody,” The Wrecks got every emotion and sound covered. “Out Of Style” is definitely the track you sing in the shower. “Four” is beautiful and elegant and will pull the strings of your heart. The record closes perfectly with “Infinitely Ordinary” which showcases the band's talent and highlights their unique sound.
“We All Get Lonely” is my favorite track on Infinitely Ordinary. It brings together all of the pieces of the other songs into the perfect alt-rock masterpiece. I just want to drive around with my windows down all night blaring this song. Not to mention how relatable the lyrics are! A close second for me is “This Life I Have” since this track pulls out every emo pop-punk piece of me.
This debut album is sure to further the band’s blossoming career. We are so excited to follow The Wrecks on their journey!
