Plus, they are from Michigan! Going to check them out live for sure.
Second, so glad Slim Shady is back. Though it sounds like this is his swan song? Anyway, I’ve always been a fan of Marshall (not a stan, just a fan!). He cracks me up.
Also a Michigander who lives just down the way from me. Third, “Whips and Chains” is what happens when men aren’t held accountable for drugging and raping women. Women get pissed. The song is vulgar, but so is sexual assaulting. So, it works.
I'm not sure I'd ever come across KITTIE before, but I really dig this song. I'll have to go back and listen to some of the previous stuff.
You're right about Eminem. I think this is supposed to be his last album. I guess we have to enjoy the new stuff while we can.
As for the "Whips and Chains" song, I think the message needs to be said for sure and Scene Queen is great at that when it comes to that topic. I'm just not a fan of the actual music behind the lyrics. It just hurts my ears. But I feel like the type of genre she's playing in is on the rise. So maybe she's on to something.
First, KITTIE rawks ! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Perhaps she is!
Listening to these when I get home and will comment!!
Can't wait to hear your thoughts!
It's really good to see Eminem back. And I love that he's using the Slim Shady voice instead of the more modern deeper Eminem version.
